Here’s a list of companies and clients I’ve worked for and worked with.

Geek & Sundry is the home of awesome nerd content like TABLETOP and CRITICAL ROLE. In 2016 I managed their entire social media presence of over half a million unique followers.

Each week, you can hear me chat with host Rod Quinn about entertainment industry news on ABC Overnights.

For Grassdoor, LA’s premier cannabis delivery service, I write regular web content and edit copy.

I’ve moderated a broad variety of filmmaker panels at the Austin Film Festival, and along with my archivist colleagues, developed and organized the SCRIBBLE TO SCREEN exhibit, at which I nearly lost my voice after interviewing a series of writers and creators over an entire day.

I’ve been on the jury at the Academy Award-qualifying Aspen Shortsfest, and interviewed Hollywood luminaries for the fest’s audience.

For Orbitz, I wrote web content and podcast scripts detailing nontraditional tourist destinations in Los Angeles.

During its inaugural year, I managed the Luminato Festival’s web content, updating its in-house blog every day and covering events throughout Toronto.

I’ve worked with the Newport Beach Film Fest as an organizer and interviewer.

I assisted Stephens College in building its communications infrastructure, advising its directors on social media and email marketing strategies.

I wrote several articles for WRITTEN BY, the magazine targeting WGA membership, where I interviewed the creators of STAR TREK, BOB’S BURGERS and more. I also worked closely with WGA communications in my role as its library’s Communications Director (see below).

I helped LA’s only feral kitten rescue to develop a stronger social media presence and email marketing strategy.

Working with Boston University’s Los Angeles internship program, I helped develop a BETTER CALL SAUL event and interviewed the minds behind the show.

For NetStride, I crafted content for a wide spectrum of retail and B2B clients, managing ongoing search engine optimization and advising on web presence.

While managing social media and web content for Geek & Sundry, I was lucky enough to work closely with and occasionally fill in for the content directors at Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls.

I edited, wrote and distributed the monthly newsletter for the South Park Stakeholders Group, a neighborhood association in downtown Los Angeles.

For LA’s first and biggest Halloween and horror festival, I organized and moderated a SIMPSONS TREEHOUSE OF HORROR panel, including writers from across the series’ 30 seasons.

I was happy to provide pro bono editing and proofreading services for the Stephen Wise Temple in Bel Air.

When I joined the Writers Guild Foundation had no social media presence, a website ten years out of date, and a mailing list with only a few hundred names on it. I helped them establish a profoundly stronger foothold online while diversifying and expanding their communications infrastructure.

This is my alma mater! I taught at Juniata for several years after graduating; freshman comp courses took up most of my curriculum, but I also taught journalism, multimedia production, and media literacy.
